My Latest Accomplishment

Last weekend when mommy was drinking some water, I reached for the cup with both hands and this time she finally let me try some water. Somehow I knew EXACTLY what to do! Mommy and daddy were so impressed....I just keep showing them new tricks every day. I overheard them whispering that I was the perfect baby - - I can't argue with that!

Sucking on my Toes

Did I say before that hanging in my swing is my favorite activity? I'm sooo over that (well, not really), but I do have a new skill that is now my #1 favorite thing to do - sucking on my toes! I mostly like to do it when I'm getting my diaper changed because my pesky clothes don't have to get in the way, but I'll still do it with clothes on. Mommy took a video of me doing it last night after my bath but I'm naked so its not appropriate for public viewing...but mommy told me today she's going to catch me doing this with clothes on so she can post a video. Why do her and daddy laugh so hard when I do this? My big toe is just like having another thumb, so I put it in there and suck away for a few minutes. What's the big deal?

Eating Faces

Lately I've discovered how much fun it is to try to eat people's faces. I especially like to gnaw on mommy. It's hard to tell, but in this picture I've actually got my tongue almost all the way up mommy's nose. The best part is that her face is covered with my slobber when I'm done. Mommy's thought about trying Arbonne facial products, but I told her that my saliva is the best thing she can do for her skin! Its all natural!

Singing

In the last week, I've discovered my voice, and I actually quite like it. My favorite times to sing are when I'm in my swing and when I'm getting my diaper changed.

Mommy and daddy brought out the videocamera once again to record my voice. They told me my aunts and uncles and grandparents would want to hear me perform - - so I gave it my all.

We Stayed Home

We stayed home and didn't go to Door County, which was a bummer, but I learned so many new skills this weekend. Tonight after my bath, I showed mommy and daddy something I've been working on secretly without them knowing - I can now roll to my left side (used to do only right) and also I can roll over from my belly to back. I've been practicing in my crib so mommy had no idea I could do it.

I also was showing off my flexibility tonight and got a good look at my toes and thought they looked super yummy, so I tried to eat them. They tasted okay - not as good as mommy's milk, but better than formula, which I feel so-so about.

My Favorite Activity

My favorite thing to do is sit in my swing. When I'm swinging, I love to kick and make tons off noises. Its also the perfect break for mom when she needs to cook or get some work done.
