Well one year ago today, I was born. So mommy and daddy decided to celebrate by having about 35 family and friends over for a big party to celebrate. It was so much fun - all my grandparents were in town, as well as my aunts and uncles (its no small task to get them all in the same place at the same time)! Plus many friends and extended family came, too. Naturally, I loved the attention and had a blast. The best part was when everyone sang to me and I got to dig into my own special cake.
Thanks to everyone who came to my party, and also those who sent cards or gifts from afar. I felt really special today. I guess people are pretty happy that I'm here :)

So glad you had a very special day! and You can be sure we are all glad you are here! Your party sounds fun and the cake looks delicious...so great you got your own to "dig into"...you certainly are a special one year old.
