Sleeping Beauty

Every night before mommy and daddy go to sleep, they peek in on me and make sure I'm alright. Many of these nights, they find me in such funny sleeping positions that they giggle at me. Last night, they thought I looked particularly cute with my hands behind my head, feet up on my bumper...that they captured it in a picture.

They didn't coin the term "sleeping like a baby" for nothin!

I've been so busy lately! My friend Emery and her parents Jay and Alison just moved here last week, and they stayed with us for a few days when they got into town. It was really busy with 4 adults, 2 babies and a big doggie all in our house. My Aunt Lisa and Uncle Andy also visited from Aspen (I've been there once but don't really remember it). I had alot of fun with them. Besides that, I've been enjoying the awesome weather here by going on hikes with mommy and daddy, visiting the petting zoo and logging time every day at various parks around our house.

And my biggest news? After being stuck at 4 teeth (two on top, two on bottom) for the past few months, I broke a new tooth today. The fun never ends!

Brain Power

It seems I'm just getting smarter and smarter by the day (well, that's what mommy tells me, anyway!). Click THIS LINK to see a video of me showing off my new skills.

For your Monday morning entertainment, I made mommy load up my pictures from the last couple months. Links are to the right - happy browsing!

Games Galore

I can make a game out of anything. Here I am sharing my drink with daddy. Super fun!
(Just to translate - the words I'm saying are "dad", "thanks", and "done".)

Rocky Mountain High

Today was sooo pretty outside! Its the first day in a stretch of beautiful weather here, so mommy and daddy took me to the park to play. As you know, I'm at my most animated when I swing, so mommy got these shots. I also figured out today that if I reach really far, I can grab my shoes when I'm swinging.

In the past couple weeks, there have been a few "spammers" who have posted comments to this blog with links included. These links are potentially harmful and can cause viruses on your computers. I'm trying my best to get to them and delete them, but please be warned: if you see a comment that looks suspicious or with an unknown link in it, please do NOT click on the link.

The spam artists never cease to amaze me with their tricks.

My neighbor friend Ryder gave me a "Bee Bop Band" music set for my birthday a couple months ago, and although I LOVE shaking the tamborine and playing the drums, my new trick is taking the drum top and smooshing my face in it when I walk around. Mommy caught me in the act today - lets hope my face doesn't stick like this!

National Champs!

Last night the Kansas Jayhawks made one of the greatest comebacks in NCAA history to win the National Championship. Well, I didn't exactly see this happen because I was upstairs sleeping, but I definitely heard all the yelling, cheering and screaming from downstairs as my parents, grandparents, aunt, uncle and friends all watched the game together. They were so loud they woke me up a couple times, but it was worth it because KU won! Mommy and daddy took lots of pictures last night, and today we went to the park and celebrate. I begged mommy to wear my KU sweatshirt again and of course she let me, and everyone who saw me thought I was very special for wearing it to celebrate the champions!

Rock Chalk, Jayhawk!

Well, today's a day I've been waiting for all of my short life. I get to see my favorite team, the Kansas Jayhawks, play for the national championship tonight. I'm going to wear my KU cheerleader outfit to cheer them on, and mommy might even let me stay up a little past my bedtime to catch some of the game.

Here's a shot of me a few days ago before our last big game. Gooooo KU! (Cute sweatshirt courtesy of Grandpa Bill, naturally!)

Sorry I didn't post for the last few days. Mommy and daddy went to Mexico for Uncle Nathan's wedding, and mommy wasn't around to type out what I had to say. I had a REALLY fun time while they were gone - I had a whole host of people taking care of me: Aunt Maggie, Uncle Andrew, Grandma Mary and Grandpa I got to hang with my favorite doggies, Tucker and Gracie. I barely even noticed that mommy and daddy were away for 5 days, but I did toddle around all weekend with a picture of me and daddy crumpled up in my hand.

I thought I'd post a couple pictures of mommy and daddy's trip, before I post some of my own.
