Fashionista

I'm living proof that you can be fashionable in a number of ways using the same accessory. I wore this headband in the traditional way all day with mommy, but after daddy got home from work, things got interesting. I first switched up just the headband style, but then added in my own twists of high heels and binoculars.

High on Pink

I love pink. I love fuzzy, girly things. And I LOVE wearing mommy's high heels around the house. So my world became a better place a few days ago when one of mommy's oldest and dearest friends, Ms. Kate, came over and brought me a present. It took a bit of adjustment because they are about 3 inches higher than anything that's in mommy's closet, but I've now figured them out and wear these shoes at EVERY chance. Here I was this morning, still in my pj's, but already in my heels "ready to go to work", as I told mommy.

My Friend Mara

Last week I got a special treat. My friend Mara, who lives in Arizona, came with her mommy and grammy to Denver... They spent a few days with me, my mommy, and my nana. It was such fun to have the 6 of us tearing up the town together. Mara and her mommy, Kari, stayed at my house and I had so much fun doing EVERYTHING with Mara. We ate together, took baths together, played at the park and in our backyard, went to the aquarium and even had a tea party with our grandmas. It was too much fun! Come back soon, Mara!

Tumbling

I've been going to a parent-tot tumbling class with mommy for the last few months. The class was a little overwhelming for me at first and there were several times that mommy probably wanted to tear her hair out during class, but I've developed into quite the little gymnast! Today we had our "graduation" and mommy busted out the camera to capture a few moments. I am really proud of myself and all the things I can do by myself (like cross a balance beam!)

PS - I am the 2nd youngest kiddo in my class...isn't it amazing how tall I am!?

Nightgown

My great aunt Dolores got me this beautiful nightgown set when I saw her in Chicago last weekend. It comes with a matching "gown" to tie over the top of this one. I can't get enough of it and cry every morning when mommy wants me to take it off.

Then and Now - Part 2

I also got to see my cousin Anna when we were in Chicago. These pictures are from Christmas (9 months ago) and last weekend. We are growing up too fast!

Two Bathtub Cuties

My friend Ashleigh's mom was out of town, so mommy and daddy invited Ash, her sister Taylor and her daddy Mark to come over for dinner. After dinner, mom gave us girls a bath - we had a blast together!

Labor Day 2009

Because my life is NEVER boring, last weekend we packed up and flew to Chicago to see Nana and Papa. I haven't been to stay at their house since last Christmas, and boy did I ever have fun! Some of the fun included: nature walks, playing tennis, tractor rides and cooking with Nana. I was mostly just attached to Nana at the hip - but she didn't complain!

My Best Friend, LambChop

I am BIG TIME obsessed with puppets lately - and my most favorite puppet is Lamb Chop. After you see us in action, can't you see why?

Where the Wild Things Are

Last week Grandpa Bill and Grandma Kay came into town. Even though I only get to see them a couple times a year, I am quite attached to them! I screamed and ran to hug them when they arrived, and I was by their side at all times. One of the fun things we did was visit the Denver Zoo again. But this time we spent almost the entire time inside the "rain forest" looking at fish, snakes, lizards and spiders. I was OBSESSED with the fish, so I think its time mommy takes me to the Aquarium here! I also had quite a grand time pulling around my new wagon.
