Neighborhood Bonding
I have this cool rocking chair on our front porch that Nana and Papa gave me. It matches mommy and daddy's rocking chairs. Each night after dinner, we go outside on the porch and rock back and forth together. Its my favorite part of the day. The best part is that I have friends that live on each side of our house, and they come out at the same time and I get to run around and play with them. I'm especially obsessed with the girls, Lilly and Rowan. They are soo sweet to me and if they aren't outside when I'm ready to play, I just stand on the porch and yell their names. Its very cute.
Here are a few shots of me enjoying my rocking chair and neighbors.

Summer Lovin
Well although the hot weather here in Salt Lake City continues day after day (after day, after day), summer must be drawing to a close soon because the pool and splash pool down the street are both closing in a couple weeks. I've had so much fun this summer in the water. Everyone comments how fearless I am in the water (which mama says is quite stressful for her), but nothing makes me happier than splashing around in the water and floating, bouncing and kicking in my floatie ring.
Mom captured a few more pics of me at the splash pool the other day doing my favorite things: hoarding as many toys as possible in my arms, and floating around. I sure will miss swimming when Labor Day rolls around!

Evil Princess
Mommy gave me a little princess toy a few weeks ago, and now "princess" is one of my favorite words. As is typical, daddy and me found a way to make a totally bizarre game out of an ordinary thing. He started saying "princess" in an evil, scary voice, and I mocked him in my own evil voice. Now there is no more girly "princess" talk - its all about the evil princess deep within! Thanks daddy!

Sophie
Grandma Mary and Grandpa Dennis got a new puppy named Sophie. I got to meet her last week when I was in Denver. Sophie is really cute and I love running around after her. I spend my time screaming "puppy!" and following her around trying to give her her water dish. Don't worry about that last picture - Sophie actually loves it when I massage her ears.
