Only in Denver can it be 84 degrees one day and in the mid-30s two days later. I've been in shorts AND a winter coat this week. The cool weather gave me an opportunity to wear my new frog hat, which my friend Mara gave me when she visited from Arizona. I was thrilled to finally wear it and happily posed when mommy asked me to take pictures. Thanks again, Mara!
This weekend, we carried our pumpkins across the street to carve them with my friend Ashleigh and her parents. I had alot of fun during every part of the process (especially feeling the slimy insides) and was proud to show off our creations!
We headed out late on a Sunday afternoon to the local pumpkin patch. It was pretty picked over so we were about to leave emptyhanded when I spotted this small little pumpkin behind a tree near the exit...someone must have left it behind! Their loss is my gain, though... I was happy to show off my treasure with Grandpa Bill and Grandma Kay!
I got to go to a baby shower this weekend for my Aunt Lisa. She's having a baby in December... mommy says I'm going to love my new cousin, but I'm not so sure I'm ready to give up being the only kiddo in our family. Its been a good run, but I guess in a couple months I'm gonna have to learn to share the spotlight. It was fun while it lasted!
One of my mostest favorite things to do is play "doctor" with anyone who is willing. I'm quite thorough, especially when the patient is my main man Lambchop. Check out my skills - I think I have quite the bedside manner.
Mommy, daddy and I went shopping for big girl beds a few days ago. To mommy's dismay, daddy quickly pointed out the waterbeds, and it was a lost cause after that point. I still think its totally unfair that she won't let me have one.
While waiting in line at the movie theater to see Toy Story 3D with Mimi and Pa (my first movie - and by the way, I did great) - upon seeing Mimi's "boyfriend-style" jeans with a hole in them:
Whenever I go see my friend Anna, we immediately run upstairs and disappear into her closet. When we emerge and come back downstairs, we are always in some form of dress-up gear. Here's how we looked the other night after our self-performed "makeovers"
As if it weren't obvious enough how much I look like Daddy, my eyes are proof enough. I did a little photo shoot with my bff Pooh (who, by the way, is the exact same toy that daddy played with as a little boy) and mommy couldn't help but admire my baby blues!
