The Sunshine State

I always have so much fun in California. This year's trip held many fun adventures for me. During the week we were in Palm Springs, we enjoyed perfect weather and made maximum use of the swimming pool, of course. I also picked grapefruit every day with daddy, got to feed a giraffe at the Living Desert, perfected my golf swing, and made a perfect batch of brownies!

California Dreamin'

Mommy, Daddy and I are in California on our annual trip to visit (great) Grandma Shirley. I have had the BEST time swimming and playing in the sun... I think I'm a California girl at heart! I'll post more news when we get back, but until then, here's a few pictures of the fun we've been having!

One of the more cute things I've been doing lately is shortening the names of people I'm familiar with. Its surely a sign of affection if I see you and call you by a shortened version of your name. Some of the more popular ones?

Baking Duo

This weekend, daddy and I made a batch of homemade chocolate chip cookies. Baking is one of my favorite things to do, and I had a blast doing this project with daddy. Aren't we cute together?
