Full of It
Tonight as I was eating my ice cream cone...
Daddy: Can I have a taste of your ice cream, Lauren?
me: I don't think so, Daddy.
Daddy: The ice cream isn't for Daddy?
me: No, Daddy. This ice cream isn't for adults.

Father's Day, Take 3
Three years ago today, mommy told daddy that she was pregnant with me. Time has flown since then, and today daddy celebrated his 3rd father's day. The day was a little hectic (I'll explain in another post) and things were a little crazy....but Happy Fathers Day, dad. I adore you more than ANYONE in the world and just loooove being your little girl and the apple of your eye.
(PS - How cute am I?)

Take me out the Ballgame
I got to go to my first major league baseball game this weekend! Mommy and daddy were also excited because they had never been to Coors Field to see the Rockies. We met my friends Ashleigh, Anna and Ryder (not pictured) at the game (with their parents, of course), and despite this picture, we had a BLAST. We were all so good and patient in our seats, and had much fun clapping and cheering when the crowd did.
Our fun was a bit shortlived, though, because some dark clouds came over the stadium, rain started pouring down, and when our parents took us up to the concourse to get some shelter, they saw THIS. Within minutes, tornado sirens were going off and the crowd was being instructed to evacuate and take shelter... what a scene it was!
So our fun ended too early - I didn't even get to sing at the 7th inning stretch! - but my first game was a memorable one. Mommy and daddy continue to be amazed at what a fun, clean, EASY city Denver is. Its so fun to explore it as a family!

Getting Married
My bestest boyfriend Sam came to visit last weekend all the way from his home in Salt Lake City. Sam is a year older than me, and I mimicked EVERYTHING that he did all weekend. Mommy joked that she could probably have me fully potty trained if Sam could just stay for a week!
We played all weekend and would shout "We're getting Married!" Although our parents just laughed, they did have to admit that it would be the ultimate uniting of great KU families!

StoryTeller
We are once again without a camera since I took the memory card out of momma's camera and broke it in half. To tide you over, here's a personal book reading from me to you!
