Room Update

I realized that I haven't shared my updated room pictures with you guys. I love LOVE my bedroom and hanging out in here, and wanted to show off my cool digs :)

Oh Boy...

I met this dog while leaving Jimano's the other day. He is 180 lbs and was the sweetest thing ever. I was quite taken with him!

Jimano's

I might not have told you that my daddy and Uncle Jo have opened a Chicago-style pizza place in Denver called Jimano's. Its always very busy so daddy is there alot...so naturally mommy takes me up to see him there and we'll grab a bite to eat together. Surprisingly, though, the highlight of my trips to Jimano's are hanging out with Jessie, uncle Jo's girlfriend. I follow Jessie around like a puppy dog, stand by her patiently holding her hand while she's ringing in orders, and wait for her at the door to the kitchen when she has to disappear. I tell Jessie that she's my best friend, and even the other day told mommy that, in fact, Jessie is my mommy. Predictably, I have a total meltdown every time we have to leave Jimano's. Daddy thinks its because we're leaving him, but we all know the truth... its all about Jess!

Trim Trim

I got my hair cut this weekend. It had been FOREVER since my last trim, so mommy took me for a little touch-up yesterday. I was quite excited and sat very still, and my reward was a "princess" hairstyle done by the stylist. You probably won't be surprised to know its still in my hair now!

By Myself

Oh boy, am I on an independent streak lately! My 3-year old personality is in full force as I insist to mommy several times a day "No mommy - I can do it BY MYSELF".
The list never ends: buckling and unbuckling myself in my car seat, brushing my own hair, getting myself dressed (EACH article of clothing), going potty, wiping, washing hands, brushing teeth, anything food-related, opening packaging, shutting the car door, shutting the garage door...

You'd think mommy would just be glad for all my help! Even if these tasks do take twice as long when I insist on doing them...

Self-Sufficient

I did my own hair this morning. They aren't all visible, but I managed to snap NINE barrettes in there!

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin...

I went bowling for the first time this weekend! I had SO much fun... I wasn't quite strong enough to roll the ball down the lane by itself, so they actually gave me a little ramp to push it down and that worked MUCH better. I did a little dance after each roll and then would run excitedly over to wait for my ball to come back. I had LOTS of fun but the #1 rule was I wanted to do everything BY MYSELF!
