Repeat Offender
As Grandpa Bill would say, yesterday was a "Chamber of Commerce" day in Denver. Sunny skies, bright sunshine, and about 75 degrees. Mommy and I met up with some friends at the Denver Zoo for some fun in the sun.
Unfortunately, a goose up on a wall decided to attack me completely unprovoked. Mommy was standing a few feet away from me and saw the goose get a strange look towards me. I was looking the other way, so all I heard was a yelp and felt a bunch of feathers knock me over. Mommy yelled "Jesus God!" as she rushed to save me, and I have to admit I was pretty upset for a few minutes.
Being the brave girl I am, I recovered and enjoyed another couple hours at the zoo. After a long ride home, I hit the sack for my nap for a couple hours. When I awoke, mommy came and got me and as we were walking downstairs, I said to her "mommy - Jesus God!"
Oops. When will she learn? Even in moments of panic - I WILL remember and repeat what she says right back to me!

Gifts
Today while mommy was writing on my blog, I decided to bring her some gifts while she typed. At her feet I laid the following: measuring spoons, plates and bowls, white drawer and phone from my cool kitchen, can of tuna, french fries, carrot, strawberry, random blue plastic piece and my princess comb. The best thing? An ice cream cone with a french fry in the middle.
Aren't I generous?

Little Monkey
Tonight before bedtime, mommy was getting some laundry out of the dryer, and I decided I wanted some of the jellybeans in a tin on our countertop. I dragged my chair from the family room into a strategic spot in the kitchen, and climbed my way to my goal. When mommy rounded the corner into the kitchen, she almost dropped the laundry basket. Good thing the camera was within arm's reach so she could capture my feat.

Fake to You, Real to Me
Mommy and I stopped into Old Navy yesterday, and what should welcome me to the store but a group of about 10 people. Mommy told me they are "mannequins" (whatever that means), but I don't discriminate - I spent the first couple minutes trying to talk to all of these people. After mommy stopped trying to pry me away, she realized that her camera was in her purse (the luck!) so she snapped some shots of me and my new friends.

Keystone Fun
We spent last weekend with daddy's side of the family up in Keystone, Colorado. It was such a fun time to be with everyone..I have enough energy to wear all 9 adults out! Among the highlights of the weekend: playing outside in the snow, dinner at the Ski Tip Lodge, an egg hunt and LOTS of eating (thanks Nana!)

Quiet Times
I haven't had much to blog about lately! Daddy has been out of town all week, so its been girl-time with me and mommy. We've stayed busy, of course, but nothing too thrilling. Running errands, going to my music class, and many trips to the park. I can't seem to get enough of being outside, which works well with Denver's weather.
Today my Pa took us to lunch at Panera, and while we were waiting outside for him to show up, mommy snapped a couple pictures of me. Sometimes it seems I'm growing up wayyy too fast! Mom thinks its pretty cool we can sit at a table and have a real back-and-forth conversation now. I have LOTS to say (wonder where I get that from?!)
