I'm not sure what to think about my first experience carving pumpkins. I really wasn't sure at first how I felt about that squishy inside of a pumpkin (after all, I am a girly girl and don't like gross things!), but soon enough I found an activity that kept me busy for a good 20 minutes: running my hands in the slippery pumpkin seed bowl.
As you can see in the video below, my first moments of carving I wasn't too enthralled with it.

PumpkinFest
I sure did have a fun weekend! My Grandma Mary (a.k.a. "Mimi"), Great Grandma Shirley, Uncle Andrew and Aunt Maggie were all in town. On Saturday we drove down to a big Halloween festival and I had so much fun! I got to go down huge slides, bounce in a fun jumper, play fun games and go to a petting zoo. But the coolest story was that mommy met and talked to Shawn Bradley, who is the 2nd tallest player ever to play in the NBA. At 7 ft 6 inches, he TOWERED over mommy. I heard Uncle Andrew got a picture of it, so when I can track it down I'll be sure to post it on my blog for everyone to see.

Wee Squeak
Mommy got me these supercool new Mary Jane shoes last week. They have these little squeakers in them that make cute noises every time I take a step. When I put them on, I just move my little feet as fast as I can - very fun. Here's a video of me and my "happy feet".... Oh, and don't worry...the squeakers pull out easily so mommy and daddy don't have to get tooo annoyed by them.

SeeSA, LeeSA, MelissSA
My aunt Lisa came into town to visit last weekend. When I was first learning to talk, everyone taught me to just shorten her name to 'Sa, which suited me just fine. Now that I'm older (and smarter), I've found that many variations of the name Lisa can be said, and just by emphasizing the 'SA in what I'm saying, it still means Lisa! So this weekend, Lisa went by 'Sa, SeeSa, Leesa, and (my favorite), MelisSA. It was all the same to me!
We had so much fun together and Lisa even bought me the coolest moose up in Park City. We also went to Gardner Village and saw all the stuffed witches on display...I was WAY interested in them!
The only downside was that I got a pretty nasty cold on Friday and Saturday and wasn't quite my cheerful, delightful self.
SeeSA...I hope you come back soon! I love you!
